Dr. Suie Chang Ngai

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist ( PY60740023 ) based in the Greater Seattle area. My practice provides individual therapy for adults, with a particular focus on professionals in their 20s-40s who are seeking effective coping skills to manage everyday stressors.

I specialize in Adult ADHD treatment and offer diagnostic assessment, psychoeducation, and a strengths-based approach to help clients manage ADHD symptoms. In addition, I also address a range of other common concerns such as anxiety, depression, work-related stress, adjustment disorders, and interpersonal problems. I have a special interest in working with individuals of the Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, particularly those who identify as first generation or 1.5 generation.

I have worked in a variety of settings including children’s residential care, community mental health, a university counseling center, and the Washington State Department of Corrections. Please view my CV for more information about my clinical experiences.

I believe that mental health concerns are universal and affect all demographics. My therapeutic approach is collaborative and integrative, tailored to the unique needs and goals of each client. While my practice is primarily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-oriented perspectives, I also incorporate a range of evidence-based interventions such as Reality Therapy, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, Psychodynamic, Attachment, Humanistic, and Family System approaches. At the core of my practice is a commitment to facilitating individual growth and acceptance.

I am authorized by PSYPACT (mobility license 14042) to provide telehealth services across various states in the US as part of the PSYPACT compact. Please visit www.psypact.org/psypactmap for a current list of participating states.
